Ishraqah for Development, the company behind the $354m The Onyx project fronting Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, is to begin apartment sales for one of the project's towers next month.
The Onyx is a mixed-use, three-tower project being built next to Emaar Business Park in front of The Greens residential development. Tower one is a 14-storey commercial building with ground floor retail units, tower two is a 24-storey building containing ground floor retail, ten floors of offices and 13 upper floors of residential units. Tower 3 contains a 210-bed, four-star hotel.
All three ground floors are linked by a podium containing retail and restaurant units.
Structural work on towers one and two are now complete, and the structure on the hotel is expected to finish in mid-March.
The facade is 60% complete on Tower One and 15% complete on Tower 2. The developer also said the residential units are in "advanced stages" of completion. It is being built by Al Shafar General Contracting.
“This is an exciting time for everyone at Ishraqah for Development as we approach the official launch date for The Onyx,” said CEO Ammar Sweis. “We are anticipating significant interest in the development due to its prime location and its impeccable high standards of build and services.
This mixed-use residential, commercial, hospitality and retail project offers fantastic access to Sheikh Zayed road and uninterrupted views of the Arabian Gulf on one side and the Green Community Golf Course on the other.”
The apartments are one-, two- and three-bed units ranging in size from 780 to 2,900 ft2 and will go on sale on 15 March.
